Paper Hoarders Design Team Post - Oct. 7th

Welcome to my crafty blog place!
It is Paper Hoarder design team day project! we were challenged to do something for Sweetest Day and I have to admit I had a hard time with this one...hehe...and I really mean it! I had several cards made hand up destroying them and so frustrated I went to who would I give it to and my son was my first thought since I am not attached at the moment...hehe...then try making a card for him but he is not a card kind of boy...so finally gave up on the card and voila a tag was born!! :)

I hope you like it is really simple...I made it to where I can put a mini candy bar in it but it has to be a flat one for your information.



My recipe is the tag was cut by sizzix die and then I cut two...and the other one i cut in half to make the pocket on it...I planned on giving him his favorite the Hershey Bar! :p and then i inked all around both with a blue ink pad (my son's favorite color) then I use a brush that makes it kinda splotchy and then I put stickers on it and then I punched a scallop circle on it and the i used versa mark to emboss it and i used silver around it and then I wrote the sentiment since I don't have one for the occasion then i put a few more stickers on that and also popped dot it to stand out a bit and then put in two fuzzy ribbons to top it off...voila!
